Every Spring and Fall since Fall 2015 a group of designers have come together to design patterns that crocheters can easily make and donate to the charity or location of their choice. This fall 9 designers have joined together to design 10 different mitten patterns! I’ve included a list of the designers participating in this event at the end of my post along with the dates when you can expect their pattern to be available. Please come join our Charity Drive Facebook group to keep updated on all of the patterns and to share your finished makes! Continue reading Crochet Mitten Drive-Faux Cabled Mittens

It is such a quick work up and only requires 115 yards of yarn that you can probably work up several in a day with the same skein of yarn! Continue reading Rockskipper Cowl-A Free Pattern
The Caution to the Wind scarf is a simple yet striking patterned scarf. The chevrons or arrows within the scarf reminded one of my testers of the caution arrowhead road signs. We played around with words and then this name came to me! I love this scarf and how easy it is to work up and memorize once you get going. Use a cotton yarn on this for the perfect spring or summer scarf that won’t cause you to sweat or make it with a light worsted weight acrylic yarn for a scarf that is still breathable but with give you some warmth in the cooler temperatures of fall or winter!
